Vision & Mission

Why We Exist?

With over 8 million people spread across the 200+ neighborhoods in NYC, we know that many families are thriving, while others are trying to survive the tough realities of city living. Some families may be drifting away, whether intentionally or unintentionally, from God’s original plan for their home. What would happen if God was at the center of that home? What if God was directing and guiding this family? Would there be a difference? Absolutely yes! Purpose and hope would be injected into that family producing a stronger sense of togetherness. Such families would catch a VISION for also making an impact in their little corners of the world, their communities, and ultimately their city. A movement like this necessitates prayer, that's where we come in.

Our VISION is to see prayer teams raised up in all 59 community districts throughout New York City so that personal, communal, and generational transformation can happen.

Moses and Marilette Sanchez are full-time family and marriage advocates with FamilyLife, a ministry of Cru. As founding members of Vision 59, they see prayer as foundation to any ministry work. To that end, they know that they are part of a larger network of organizations and churches who are partnering around a shared passion and mission.
